Deputy Chief/Executive Lieutenant Donald E Cunningham, passed on August 4, 2024 at the age of 88.  Donald was a member of the 94th FBI NA Session graduating in 1973.

Lieutenant James R. Oster, passed on June 10, 2012 at the age of 85.  James was a member of the 103rd FBI NA Session graduating in 1975.

Chief William “Bill” Crosier, passed on Monday July 14, 2025.   Bill was a member of the 109th Session graduating in June of 1977.   Bill was the Ohio FBI NAA President in 1988.

Chief Lester “Rocco” LaGatta, 79, passed on June 6, 2025.  Lester was a member of the 102nd NA Session graduating in September of 1975.    He served as the Chief of Police for the Village of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

Colonel Richard A. “Rick” Greer, 72, passed on March 4, 2025. Rick was a member of the 156th NA Session graduating in March of 1989.  Rick served on the Ohio NA Board 7 years starting in the Historian position and then becoming the Ohio NA President in 2003.

Rick continued to attend and be a part of Ohio NA chapter meetings following his retirement.

Rick was a Hamilton County Park Ranger for over 20 years serving as the Colonel from 1983 until his retirement in 2005.  He then served as a Captain with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.  Rick was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Chief Michael J. LaMonica, 86, passed on October 16, 2024.   Michael was a member of the 113th NA Session graduating in 1978.   Michael served as a member of the Akron Police Department for 21 years.  He then went on to be the Chief of Police for Fairlawn PD.  He served the Fairlawn community for a number of years before moving to the private sector.

Sergeant George Sekerak, 87, passed on August 23, 2024.  George was a member of the 123rd NA graduating in 1980.

George served the citizens of northern Ohio as a member of the Cleveland Police Department having a very successful career.  After his retirement, he continued to serve in other law enforcement and security related leadership positions.

Lieutenant Richard “Rick” Balog, 62, passed on August 19, 2024.  Rick was a member of the 243rd NA graduating in 2010.

He served with the Boardman Police Department for 34 years as a member of an inner agency Task Force, the police bike patrol, and he was one of two of the departments Voice Stress Analysis officers.

Chief Robert E. Taylor, 80, passed on June 14, 2024 after a brief illness.  Bob was a member of the 136th NA Session graduating in March of 1984.

Bob served the community in several law enforcement roles.  He was with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, then became the Chief of Police for Genoa Township, and upon retiring from Genoa PD, he returned to the FCSO as a Chief Deputy for a number of years.

Special Agent Keith David Coy; 80, passed on Sunday, February 4, 2023.   

Keith was a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 38 years having been appointed in 1966.

Keith served in the Atlanta, New Orleans and was assigned to the Dayton office prior to moving to the Cincinnati office.   He held many positions with the FBI, but his final assignment was to process and coordinate law enforcement executives for attendance at the FBI National Academy in Quantico.  Keith remained active with the Ohio Chapter of the FBI NA throughout the years and attended the 2024 winter board meeting on Sunday, January 28, 2024 just one week prior to his passing.
